Seminar Security Council Passes Resolution to address the rise of Terrorism

Reporting from the Seminar:

It can be reported that the Committee present at Delegate Seminar III worked together to write the first resolution of the entire Conference. Through the resolution, the Committee hopes to address the Rise of Terrorism in a swift and effective manner.

The Seminar’s Security Council,


Alarmed by the rising presence of autonomous groups participating in insurgent and terrorist actions against the established governments of the United Nations,


Aware of the devastating effects of terrorism on our world,


Deeply disturbed by recent attacks against from autonomous terrorist organisations against the established governments of the United Nations,


Deeply regretting the global concern regarding the increasing threat of terrorism, which disrupts the values of liberty and safety,


Taking into account that terrorism …,


  1. Calls upon member states of the United Nations to work together to form an international organisation known as the International Anti-Terrorism Front which would be dedicated to tracking and eliminating any terrorist threats from insurgent groups, which consists of:

    1. the Treaty Organisation on the Elimination of Insurgent Groups,

    2. Other Allied former Organisations;

  2. Enforcing the punishment of organisations sponsoring or supporting extremists ideologies;

  3. Encourage developing comprehensive programs that counter extremists Ideologies;;

  4. Encourages all member states to strengthen their national legislation to prevent the illegal production of radical thinking;

  5. Directs the establishment of a global organisation with member states to combat terrorist organisations, that will foster international cooperation and establish support networks to promptly answer future attacks under the oversight of the United Nations human right’s watch and Geneva convention:

  6. Recommends member states to conduct operations within their territories to best de-escalate present and future terrorist threats, by addressing social concerns, educating the population and the correct use of military means to pacify and contain extremism and extremist groups;

  7. Urges all member states to conduct extensive research on the causes of terrorism in order to develop policies that address these underlying issues, including access to education, economic stability and personal dignity;

  8. Calls upon members to support intercultural and interethnic dialogue, to enforce tolerance, respect and acceptance among citizens;

  9. Decides that members are to report the progress made in eliminating terrorism annually;

  10. Kindly invites all its member states to come together as one and fight against any form of terrorism.
