Founder & Secretary-General
Born in a country, but living in countless others, I've never been attracted to the concept of nation-states. In my eyes, my nation is that of all humanity united in harmony. I believe in the United Nations because it is the torch of that pan-humanist wish to break the barriers that divide us from that utopian dream. With YVMUN, I hope to unite humans from all over to show how communication and debate between people of a rainbow of diverse cultures is not only possible but beautiful in how it generates such a wide array of perspectives, and how it may inspire hope in us for a harmonic future.

I began working on YVMUN because I’ve been deeply interested in MUN for a few years now. MUN is a way to improve our understanding of the world and to learn and practice important skills related to debating, discussion, and the development of solutions, while being fun as well. YVMUN, as a model built from the ground up by students, for students, is the perfect opportunity to do all of these things and so much more. That is why I am so excited to be a part of YVMUN, and I look forward to see the ideas of MUN put into action by such a passionate and hard-working group of people.

Head Chair
YVMUN for me is a platform where we, as the young people of the world, get to discuss real problems that the world is facing. It forces us to really think about why we believe what we believe, and to have sound reasoning behind it. I strongly recommend that anyone considering joining YVMUN do so, it is a wonderful way to spend your time and extremely productive. I am extremely honored to be your head chair this year!

The ideals behind YVMUN are what initially attracted me to it. It's clear how MUNs represent us as a community, and us young people as we have the power of change with our innovation, with our ideas, but, above all, with our voice. This voice is the future of our communities, of our coexistence, and of our entire society, which needs people like all those who are making part of this Model to look for a bright future, and I feel incredibly honored to be chairing and witnessing that brightness in full.
